Issues with DNS Propogation (Wordpress Visits Redirected to Broken Shopify Link)

What is the name of the domain?

greenwoodfishmarket.com

What is the issue you’re encountering

I seem to be having issues with DNS propagation. My company has two websites. A main Wordpress website, www.(domain) and an e-commerce shopify website, shop.(domain). Previously, some wrong DNS changes were made a few months back. The DNS settings have since been fixed however, there still seems to be an issue with DNS propagation as some website visitors are being redirected to a broken shopify store when they visit our main website

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

DNS settings are all fixed but there are issues with DNS propagation for some visitors

What feature, service or problem is this related to?

DNS not responding/updating

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

Access main website on a device/ connection that had previously visited our site

I’m seeing the same DNS records propagating globally so this does not appear to be an issue with propagation

It’s possible these users have the old site still cached in their browser in which case they would need to delete their browser cache.

Hi, thanks so much for the reply! Is there anything that we can do on the backend to solve this issue for incoming website visitors?

You currently have an A record for one service (Vodien Internet Solutions) and an AAAA record for another (Shopify). You probably want to remove the record for Shopify.

Hi there @emanova thanks for the help!

Is there any way I can force the cache to be cleared for all incoming visitors?
