Issues with Cloudflare IP Whitelisting - Seeking Assistance

Hello Everyone,

I’ve been encountering an issue with Cloudflare’s IP allowlisting, and I’m hoping someone here could shed some light on it. My users have been receiving an error message saying:

“Your server IP blocked by Cloudflare. Contact supplier (https://xxxxx.com) to unblock your IP.”

To address this, I navigated to my Cloudflare dashboard and created IP access rules to allowlist the respective user IPs. I followed the standard procedure: Dashboard > Firewall > Tools > IP Access Rules, and then added the respective IPs to the allowlist.

Unfortunately, the problem persists. Even after I’ve explicitly allowlisted the IPs, my users continue to receive the same error message indicating that their IP is blocked.

I’ve double-checked the IP addresses for any possible mistakes and confirmed that the blocked IPs match the ones I have allowlisted. Yet, the issue remains unresolved.

It’s worth noting that I’ve also checked my server’s firewall settings to make sure the block isn’t originating from there. So far, everything seems in order on that end.

I’m at a loss for what to do next. Has anyone else experienced this issue or something similar? Any suggestions or insights would be highly appreciated. Also, if there are alternative solutions to prevent legitimate users from being blocked, I’d be grateful to hear them.

Looking forward to your responses and thank you in advance for your help.

Best Regards,

By any chance do you have any other firewall rules located physically above this rule?

No. I am getting only this issue from my user. “Your server IP blocked by Cloudflare. Contact supplier https://abc.com to unblock your IP.”
