Issues with a browser extension on YouTube.com

Hi,

We have a site which is performing really well with Cloudflare sitting at the front.

However, we’ve added a browser extension for YouTube which allows users to access some of the features of the site to popular content on YouTube.

We have the services setup and they work perfectly when we bypass Cloudflare, but as soon as we enable the proxy, the extension stops working and cannot even authenticate.

Is there some config or setting I’m not aware of which is preventing the extension from working?

Your extension likely runs into Cloudflare’s security layers. You’d need to check which status code your requests get and search in the firewall log these requests and check why they are blocked.
