Issues setting up DNSSEC with Nameservers at Cloudflare with godaddy as registrar

What is the name of the domain?

makeit.buzz

What is the issue you’re encountering

Godaddy can not set the DS record and telling me it is a cloudflare issue

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I have tried changing all the DNSSEC settings and turning it off and back on. I also spoke to godaddy

What feature, service or problem is this related to?

DNSSEC

That is a common issue with GoDaddy, best solved by transferring the domain to a different registrar.

You can search the forum for “godaddy dnssec” and you will see it comes up time and time again, for example here:

Unfortunately with a .buzz TLD there are very few registrars that I can use. That I why I am hoping there is a way to fix this

This is a technical problem with GoDaddy’s system and only they can fix it.

If anyone is wondering - I called godaddy and spent 3 hours with different agents. They took 12 hours and were able to finally fix the issue from their side after I explained to all the reps on the phone that even though my Nameservers are with Cloudflare the DS record is done at the registrar. It seems like there system is set to only work if the DNS is hosted on godaddy and you have to beg them to fix it.
