What is the issue you’re encountering

when I try to create first compression relue I get error: exceeded the maximum number of rules in the phase http_response_compression: 1 out of 0 same at website and at api I got that error around october 2024 and i thought it will be fixed it self when the deploy of compression relues will be released for all free accounts but now its abril 2025 and is still same so I think its problem with my account only.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

adding the rule through api didnt work
contacting the support told me to reach the community

Compression Rules used to require an Enterprise plan. They are now available on all plans but it’s possible your zone or account wasn’t updated. You will need to raise a Cloudflare Account support ticket to ask for them to be enabled.
