Issue with Cloudflare DNS configuration on domains registered with Locaweb

Hi, we are facing a critical issue that we have been dealing with for the past week regarding the inclusion of Cloudflare’s DNS addresses (chin.ns.cloudflare.com and dan.ns.cloudflare.com) on our domains registered with Locaweb. Despite waiting for the propagation time, we have found that the DNS configuration does not propagate successfully.

Locaweb has suggested that the issue lies with Cloudflare, but unfortunately, we do not have the means to contact Cloudflare directly to verify if there are any problems or pending issues. In fact, we have never had any prior contact with Cloudflare.

We currently have three domains registered with Locaweb: vlearn.com.br, vlearnhealth.com, and vlearnhealth.com.br. We have attempted to include the Cloudflare DNS addresses on all three domains, but none of them have propagated successfully. Our latest attempt was on the domain vlearnhealth.com, and even after waiting for 48 hours, we have not seen any success.

Can anyone help us? Could you provide any guidance on how we can successfully configure the Cloudflare DNS addresses on our domains? Thanks!

You need to log in and select a plan type. Unfortunately, it appears you’ve started to change nameservers and that may introduce an issue, best bet is to revert that change at your domain registrar, ensure the doamins work as you expect, then select a plan type and then change the nameservers to just the two from Cloudflare.

Hey Cloonan, Thank you for your help, it seems that we can enter the addresses, but when we go to check if it has spread to Cloudflare, this financial pending message appears on our part. However, we never had a Cloudflare account. How can I do to resolve this? We are from Brazil and I have already tried several contacts with Cloudflare by email and all emails are returned with no response.

Sorry for the issues.

Can you create a Billing ticket and share your ticket number here?

You can open a Billing ticket here, https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/support

Was that ticket opened using the same account you are using here?

Yes. I used the same account.

Is it possible for you to reply to the ticket 3182951 from the Super Administrator Email you are facing issues with?

If not can you create a ticket from the Super Administrator email in the account that is facing these issues?

As I explained in the email I just sent to Daniel (Cloudflare): Since I don’t have an administrator for my network, if I don’t have an account with Cloudflare, how could I open this ticket there? We’re not even clients of Cloudflare, but there’s a financial pending issue with our domain there? What do you suggest?

Hi @hellen82 I flagged your reply for my colleagues in Support

Thank You Cloonan!
