Is there any way to force a switch to a backup certificate?

My site was added to Cloudflare recently and it automatically left me with a Google Trust Services edge certificate. I was more than happy with a Let’s Encrypt or CloudflareSSL certificate as I was getting with my other sites. In fact, I’d take any Cloudflare-partnered issuer over Google.

My backup is Let’s Encrypt. Is there any way to switch to this? I don’t really want to have a Google one. I’ve been asked “why’s your certificate with Google?” numerous times on my privacy-focused service, and I have to explain the whole deal with the new system and that it works this way.

You can change the Universal SSL CA with an undocumented API call:

You can’t switch to the backup cert. Only Cloudflare can.

This is exactly what I needed, thanks.
