Is there an option prevent removing the html suffix?

Dear CF Pages team, I am looking for an option to prevent removing the HTML suffix.

Since some search engines (Baidu) require an html file to verify the ownership, but it won’t forward the redirect response (308), since the .html was removed from URL, I couldn’t verify my site on CF Pages, how could I disable this behavior?

I found this topic Prevent truncating and removal of page name extensions?, but doesn’t help.

There isn’t an option to disable but you can hack it by adding the html extension twice .html.hrml. So index.html.html for example
