I want to know whether it is currently allowed to add .sy domains (specifically 2p.sy) to Cloudflare, considering that the U.S. lifted sanctions on Syria as of July 1, 2025. My concern is whether Cloudflare still blocks .sy domains or treats them as restricted under residual compliance policies.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I researched recent changes to U.S. sanctions policy (OFAC update July 1, 2025), which appears to allow general commercial interaction with Syria again. I also searched the Cloudflare help center but didn’t find any updated official statement regarding .sy domains or Syrian entities.
