Is cloudflare blocking connections from outside U.S.?

After I switched to cloudflare, my developer in India is no longer able to SSH into my AWS EC2 instance. I checked all my security groups in AWS console and confirmed there were no rules blocking him. Everything was open for traffic.

I checked around cloudflare but was unable to locate any rules here either, nor did I set any. Where can I check if there is some default setting configured that may cause this? Trying to systematically root out why my developer can’t ssh into the instance.

Cloudflare doesn’t proxy SSH. It’d be best if your dev SSH’d to your server’s IP address.

Or, create another DNS record, do not proxy it, and then use that new subdomain to SSH into it.
