Is Cloudflare APO compatible with such a dynamic site, or is it only designed for static websites? I am concerned that Full Page Caching will not be beneficial in this case?
Yes, Cloudflare APO is compatible with dynamic WordPress sites using LearnDash and BuddyPress. APO considers the cacheability of dynamic content and should not interfere with your membership/LMS features. Only you can attest to the benefits of APO to your website. Even if other users may have LMS and caching plugins similar to yours, their config may vary widely as to what amount of free course (no login required) is offered, among other things.
If you are on a Cloudflare paid plan, APO is included. On a Free Plan, I believe there’s an option to try it for a month. While trying it, monitor for speed improvement, then decide whether you’d want to commit to APO in the long run.
