Hi,
I installed Claudflare APO yesteday, to be running in my Wordpres based website together with WP Rocket cache plugin.
When cheking APO status with Uptrends, I get CF-Cache-Status=HIT and cf-apo-via=tcache, but I never get the cf-edge-cache header.
I run the Cloudflare plugin and subscribed to APO service.
Is APO fully working or must I change anything? my website URL is www.freemason DOT pt.

Hi,
That header is added by the Cloudflare WordPress plugin, whether or not you have APO enabled. If it’s not showing, you can try purging all cache (local and Cloudflare). If that doesn’t work, try deleting then re-installing the plugin.
APO is enabled nevertheless, as signaled by the header cf-apo-via
, but the APO cache invalidation logic depends on the plugin to be properly installed to work well.
Hi, CBrandt,
Thank you for your prompt answer. The Cloudflare plugin is connected to Cloudflare APO. If I go to CF Dashboard, I see the message “” Do I still need to follow the WordPress plugin successfully detected on freemason.pt, freemason.pt… Do I still need to follw the steps you mention?

Hi, CBrandt,
Thank you for your prompt answer. The plugin seems to be comunicating with Cloudflare APO, as if I go to CF Dashboard, I see the the following message " WordPress plugin successfully detected on [my website addresses]". Do I need to follow the steps you mention? Sorry for the question, but I am not a very technical guy.

Visiting other pages of your website, I get the cf-edge-cache
header. So it seems to be a problem with the homepage only. Purge all cache for that page, both origin and Cloudflare, see if that solves the issue. If not, you’d need to investigate your WordPress installation to see which other plugin (or perhaps the theme) may be removing the header added by the Cloudflare plugin.
Thank You for your help, CBrandt. I did as you proposed but the issue remains. I have to check everything and try to find the reason.

A Jorge
