What feature, service or problem is this related to?
DNS records
What are the steps to reproduce the issue?
Add domain to cloudflare
Add Proxied DNS records
Set up NS on your domain provider
Check it via any (good) DNS checker, and it will give you your REAL IP for few minutes after your nameservers was installed
This is normal. Until Cloudflare sees that the nameservers are set (while in pending status), the proxying of records is not enabled even if set. This is to ensure that where users are moving DNS records to Cloudflare, clients that pick up the change to Cloudflare nameservers before Cloudflare does continue to connect to the public IP address to prevent site downtime. In this case the real IP address was public anyway.

If setting up a new IP address when configuring Cloudflare that you want to keep hidden, you can avoid this by using a dummy IP address (say 192.0.2.1) until the zone goes active.
