Invalid SSL response

When I try to connect jetpack with my site, its show the following error
Error Details: The Jetpack returned an invalid SSL response [IXR -32300: transport error: http_request_failed cURL error 35: error:1407742E:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:tlsv1 alert protocol version]

I read the other topic in the community, mostly it says about certificate, so I had issued a new certificate also added the same i added the same in my hosting server, the ssl works fine but jetpack don’t’ connects though

This is problem with your server/hosting. You are making a request with an old version of SSL and target doesn’t downgrade to your version of SSL.

Update (or ask your hosting if you are on a shared server) curl (libcurl) and OpenSSL.

Let me ask my hosting provider

The problem was with Cloudflare settings

This happened to my site as well. The old TSLV1 is too old for updated WP Jetpack. This means a person has to pay to get the SSL cert if they want all the WP features to work with their site. I guess everyone has to get their piece of the pie.

Updating curl is free and something to ask from your hosting. If you start a SSL session with an outdated version of protocol (say a script on website at back-end tries to connect to a https address), then the target address may not allow older versions of protocol. Actually it can do that but for security reasons it would not (protocol downgrading). This has nothing to do with buying a SSL certificate.
