Fair enough, then I am afraid I am out of ideas at this point and a view from Cloudflare’s side would be necessary.

Definitely weird. I can confirm that I observe the 526 error occasionally (3 out of 500 requests), but requests to the server itself show the same certificate every time.
Have you already created a support ticket?

Yes, and they closed the ticket. Apparently I only have access to this community forum. That’s frustrating, not gonna lie. I understand that the free plan comes with no support for a reason, but (1) there should be a channel at least for cases like this (2) the SaaS product is not a free one.
Can you share your ticket number here so we can share it with Cloudflare support staff?
