Intermittent 500 errors, already took some diagnostic steps

Hi all,

Sorry to add to the stack of topics for 500 errors, but I’ve tried all the suggestions I could find, and still am hitting them intermittently.

The cdn-cgi/trace I got the moment after I hit a bunch of 500s (mostly image thumbnails) is:

Steps I’ve taken so far

  • Contacted the webhost - they’ve found no 500 errors on their end, even after escalation.
  • Verified no Cloudflare integration on webhost - they do offer the service, but we explicitly don’t use it.
  • Paused Cloudflare - had it running naked for a while (confirmed by inspecting response headers), and didn’t hit any 500s. Started hitting the 500s after re-enabling Cloudflare.
  • Purged cache - no improvement.
