Intermediate certificate expired

Our phone app uses the FFImageLoading Library; it appears to complain as above for images such as
https://learn-biology.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/32_character-displacment-bioninja-niche2_med.jpg

The issue seems to have coincided with using Cloudflare WordPress optimization.

Of course, loading the image in a browser is not a problem; not sure why FFImageLoading is persnickety about this.

Thanks for any assistance!

I would check the latest SSL certificates on the mobile device, as the Letā€™s Encrypt intermetiate cert was replaced in 2020 and some devices didnā€™t get an update containing the new one.+

Hopefully you donā€™t have users still running Android 4.2. Anything older than Android 10 is out of Google support. On devices that are receiving updates, there is no guarantee that certificate store updates were made available, and when they are, users donā€™t always apply the updates.

Thanks very much. Checkingā€¦ but weā€™re seeing this on multiple devices (including my new Android 13 phone), so it seems a bit mysteriousā€¦

Here is the Letā€™s Encrypt community post that explains the changes to the certificate chain that was made to extend Android compatibility. It may help you analyze the certificate you are receiving.
