Installing on Windows 11 VM

Beyond the executable being unsigned (Which I’m ok with and just hit ok) when I try to run the command to fire up the service on a Windows 11 VM, running as an admin with every security feature on 11 diabled and that exe in the exemp list I am getting…

Program ‘cloudflared.exe’ failed to run: The specified executable is not a valid application for this OS platform.At
line:1 char:1

  • cloudflared.exe service install xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (replaced cuz reasons)

I have double-checked that I’m running the most recent version and have tried bout the exe and msi installers.

Is this not supported on 11?

Hi @bsoper,

What is the name of the executable you downloaded? For me it’s called cloudflared-windows-amd64.exe, so I have to run cloudflared-windows-amd64.exe service install <token>

Documentation from Cloudflare seems like it’s always CLOSE but not quite done. :slight_smile:
