DNS records

The webmaster of this site has passed away. The owner of the domain needs to know the name of the hosting provider so that we can move his website. He does have access to the registrar account for his domain name. How do we get the information in the DNS records. The registrar said that they are hosted with Cloudflare, so they couldn’t tell us who the host is.

The email records point to GoDaddy, so it’s a safe bet that’s where the site is hosted.

Where were you able to see that?

It’s the MX records:

He doesn’t have any email accounts currently. Just a forwarder. Isn’t there any way to contact Cloudflare directly to verify ownership and have the records transferred to him?

If this is your goal…

…you should start with GoDaddy. Getting someone else’s account information here is going to be a bit tougher, and it’s just going to point you back to GoDaddy anyhow.
