Increased DNS latency for me

I have been using 1.1.1.1 dns since it released and i always had a ping of 24-25ms with it.
This month my ping has increased to 40 ms and right before that i was experiencing a few days of unstable ping(over 100ms) then it resolved with a ping of 16ms for 3-4 days and then it got to 40ms and has stayed like that. (my connection is FTTH)
this is the result of tracert

1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms localnet [10.0.0.1]
2 2 ms 1 ms 2 ms 5.181.203.130
3 2 ms 2 ms 2 ms 10.20.48.53
4 2 ms 2 ms 2 ms 10.20.48.52
5 2 ms 2 ms 2 ms 37.26.81.21
6 1 ms 2 ms 2 ms te0-3-1-9.rcr51.tia01.atlas.cogentco.com [149.14.98.5]
7 11 ms 10 ms 10 ms be2024.ccr51.beg03.atlas.cogentco.com [154.54.59.233]
8 15 ms 16 ms 16 ms be3422.ccr31.bud01.atlas.cogentco.com [130.117.0.125]
9 40 ms 41 ms 41 ms 149.6.182.74
10 40 ms 41 ms 41 ms one.one.one.one [1.1.1.1]

I have contacted my isp and they said it is not dependent on us.

is there something i can do?

Judging by just the tracert alone seems the be the issue of your ISPs transit partner(Cogent) and not Cloudflare itself.
Checking the ips of your traceroute, probably your isp is not routing you to a local Cloudflare, and routing to a Cloudflare in Paris.

i see, so not much i can do

Sadly yeah
