Route leaks can happen from an AS originating a prefix that it does not actually own or an AS announcing that it can deliver traffic through a route that should not exist

Based on CF’s description of the issue, another AS likely reported they owned (some of) CF’s IP ranges.

BGP sessions with AS396531 caused the leak.

The network responsible for the route leak has now fixed the issue. We are seeing improvement and are continuing to monitor this before we consider this issue resolved.

Cloudflare DNS was down on our website as well and a few other big Cloudflare websites as well. It seems to be working now but not sure for how long.

I don’t know what’s happening with Cloudflare DNS. It’s not working and is costing us a lot of fortune.
Site unreachable or take ages to connect.

Activities of the server is 4% and also not under attack…

What;s going?

Cloudflare, please tell us whats going on, performance issue in your status page isnt enough. we need to tell something to our customers
