Inactive web analytics

I’ve proxied my site via Cloudlare, they have been set web analytics to Automatic setup by default, however it is still in " Inactive state". Can’t figure out why, As far as I understand no injection is needed if site is proxied via Cloudflare. What could be the issue?

If the host is a Cloudflare partner, your traffic might be routed through them instead, so you wouldn’t see any analytics in your dashboard.

Hi there,

I use Digital Ocean. This could the reason, are they partners?
Any workaround to see webanalytics?
Thanks!

I’ve too enabled the Analytics on one of my domain.
It shows INACTIVE for first few seconds after the page loads. But once I hover over it, it shows active and after clicking the data is shown.

I think there is a little bug as why it shows inactive for few seconds.

Unfortunately it is inactive for more than 24 hours, no any stats. Any workaround to make it happen maybe possible?

Ok, then that’s probably the issue. I suggest you open a ticket via email: support AT cloudflare DOT com

And then post the ticket number here as soon as you get the autoreply so we can escalate it.

here is the number:2335710
Thank you!

Ok, I’ve added the ticket to the escalation queue. It’s getting pretty quiet in the run-up to Christmas, so it might be a little while.

Hello,

Please note Website analytics can be availed with Pro and above plans.

Please click on Manage site and expand on the Advanced Options you can see the message.
Hope this helps. Please let us know if you have more questions for us.

note sure what you are trying to say, as:

Cloudflare Web Analytics provides free, privacy-first analytics for your website without changing your DNS or using Cloudflare’s proxy

So why should Pro plans is needed?
Actually, you explained nothing, still not clear why it is not working, can you contact me on this to solve the issue?

Im having exactly the same issue as @user15678.
Using Cloudflare Pages.
Automatic setup enabled.
Going to the site i can see the XHR requests sending the analytics data to cloudflare.
But the sites are still inactive and no data shows.
I actually have 2 sites in the same state.
Any thoughts ?

Also @AnjanaM i think theres a misunderstanding.
Web Traffic Analytics requires Pro or above
Web Analytics its is free
See: Web analytics · Cloudflare Analytics docs

Cloudflare Web Analytics provides free

For me, it shows ‘inactive’ when there’s no traffic to the website. Hope this helps!
