Impossible to cancel domain transfer

Hi,

I made the transfer in error but now cannot cancel it

I assume, that’s because the transfer is complete. WHOIS info shows the present registrar as GoDaddy. More info: Whois taylorbutler.co.uk

Yes I attempted a transfer to Cloudflare and then realised it was my client who owned the domain, not me… I.e. I attempted a transfer in error.

But now when I attempt to cancel nothing happens.

Were you able to cancel this @matthew45? If so, let us know. You can try incognito mode, a different browser, clear cache & cookies, or a mobile device.

Nope that doesn’t work sorry. Cloudflare support just say it’s impossible to cancel. So why there is an option to cancel I’ve no idea!

Same here, I was going to transfer my domains over but I’ve decided not to because I don’t want to use their DNS for some domains and they insist you must (bizzare), so went to cancel and the cancel button does nothing.

Doesn’t affect anything as the tag is still with the other provider but just can’t remove it from the control panel.

I suspect this was a timing issue but will flag your post for the attention of my colleagues on the #website-application-performance:registrar team.

I have just replied to your ticket. If you can confirm the domains that need the transfer cancelled. As well as the HAR file doing the process. That will be enough for me to get this escalated to our internal teams. Look forward to hearing from you. We appreciate your patience.
