I want to optimise the images of my website. Is it enough with having enabled the option?

Most of our features requires the Proxy to be enabled. Like so, yes indeed, you need to have DNS Proxy on to use such product, it needs to be routed through us in order for us transform the image.

What DNS proxy do I need to have enabled? A, CNAME…?
If I enabled the CNAME my website is down, because it is pointing from another domain provider.
