For Workes & Pages, what is the name of the domain?

What is the issue or error you’re encountering

All my images uploaded to Cloudflare Images are losing noticable amounts of color detail

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Changing the ‘Metadata’ field in varients from ‘strip all metadata’ to ‘keep all metadata’ => Didn’t help

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

  1. Have a .webp photo
  2. Upload it to Cloudflare Images using the Variant “W:1500, H:1500, Fit:Scale down, Metadata: Strip all metadata”
  3. Open up transformed image
  4. Notice that the two images are slightly different

If anyone runs into this same issue, I found out it’s because converting from .webp to .avif results in the colors of the image becoming dull. To avoid this, just upload your images in .png format.
