Image resizing and its billing

Hello,

I need more information about image resizing and its billing.

I tested the service yesterday and it’s really great, I divide by 7 the loading weight of the images :slight_smile:

But I don’t really understand how the service works in terms of billing.

Because at this time I increase about 5,000 image resizing per hour, a quick calculation of about $ 540 per month.

So I wonder how it works, on my homepage I have 20 images that are resized is it 20 resized images are counted for each user who visits my site or only for the first time they are resized and then use a cached version not resized and thus not counted in the billing?

I hope I was clear enough in my question.

Yes but the answer was not always very clear.

The image is indeed not counted if it comes from the cache.

The nuance is that an image is put in the cache if it has been called 3 times so you have to resize it 3 times to have cf-cache hit.

It’s a pity because the service is really top but it can’t fit in my budget.

I think you just answered your own question.

As stated in another thread, if you use Argo Tiered Caching, which is free, it should help reduce that bill.
