I have activated the image resizing and polish features. The images on the website are not properly optimized, not all of them at least. Most of them are JPG but I don’t get any image resized nor any miage in webp format. I read about workers etc but I have no idea of what we are talking about. Is not enough to turn on the features in the dashboard?

May I ask you to post and share the URL example to the particular resource in a bracketed dot [.] notation with us so we could double-check, troubleshoot and provide some feedback information regarding the HTTP headers? 
It’s rather in visitors Web browser “thing”, from where instead of loading the original jpg from the “src” attribute of the “img” HTML element, it loads and shows an optimized and compressed one, the webp, of that original jpg version.
I’d suggest you to open an image in your Web browser and try to save it - should be .webp format.
Nevertheless, checking the Network tab of the Developer Tools (F12) should be either original .jpg, however the HTTP headers should be like:
cf-bgj: imgq:85,h2pri
cf-polished: qual=85, origFmt=jpeg, origSize=1163
content-disposition: inline; filename="filename.webp"
content-type: image/webp --> or even image/jpeg
You can always check the HTTP headers to determine if it was Polished or not.

i did the test and actually the images are in webp, i was just opening the images in a new tab and not downloading them. So the images conversion is working.

The images are still loaded using the original dimension and not resized to the real dimension shown on the page. This is an issue that also comes from the coding of the website, but I wanted to see if Cloudflare could help me in this.
