Well, first of all, there are different type of kind of bots.
There are a lot of options at Cloudflare available, despite the Bot Fight Mode to challenge or block them, even by creating some custom Firewall Rules, blocking IP address/ranges, AS numbers, etc.
Using all available to you, I believe you could move away the vast majority of malicious bots
