But I have found out that there are a lot of “proxy?” websites that “steal/cache” content from my website and present it as being theirs with an added banner on top.
Example:

https://ihavenotv.uproxy.io/series/our-planet
there are literally zounds of websites like this :((

A technical solution, though? on how to restrict sites to embed or ask for my content just to be displayed on another website?
I think: that’s just impossible unless you protect the content using copyright or DMCA (that’s what comes to my mind)
Though, let’s not overvalue DMCA
