I set the redirect to redirect all traffic and it does nothing

Hi I did a Page Rules entry that should do a wildcard redirect and it does nothing

Here is the rule

redirect ....site1.org/composer/web/*

Forwarding URL (Status Code: 301 - Permanent Redirect, Url: …https://www.site2.org)

nothing happens
also the htaccess on my live site does nothing…
