What is the error message?

DNS resolution error What happened? You’ve requested a page on a website (www.watermelonbooks.com) that is on the Cloudflare network. Cloudflare is currently unable to resolve your requested domain (www.watermelonbooks.com). There are two potential causes of this:

What is the issue you’re encountering

Website blocked. Didn’t sign up for cloudflare.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I’ve spent countless hours with Weebly Support and GoDaddy Support, neither of which can help me resolve why Cloudflare is block my website from going live. All we did was update the copyright date in the footer. This is a 10 year old website that we just keep republishing yearly.

Which one of them is your host? (I assume it is Weebly as GoDaddy is your registrar). Weebly use Cloudflare (and Godaddy do too for their hosted Wordpress product) so that’s why you are seeing a Cloudflare error when you don’t use Cloudflare yourself.

Whoever is the host should be able to work out why you see that error (reasons for which are here), and if not they should be able to raise a support request to Cloudflare.

Yes, Weebly is hosting the old website. They’ve told me multiple times that it’s an issue with GoDaddy and the DNS settings.

Weebly support may as well be right, but not helpful.

But ask them for the specifics: ask them what specific DNS records you need to have in your GoDaddy DNS. I’d even show them my GoDaddy DNS records screenshot and ask them what exactly needs to be changed.
