I need to forward example.ca to example.com

Hi everybody,

I need to forward example.ca to example.com. I contacted GoDaddy but they said they couldn’t do it because the nameserver is under Cloudflare. Right now, example.ca doesn’t go anywhere. All the other registered domains under GoDaddy are forwarded, but this is the one I can’t get to work because of something to do with the nameserver. Could someone please help with this or point me in the right direction? Thank you!

You can create a new redirect rule here: https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/:zone/rules/redirect-rules/new

You want it to match all traffic and set the URL to what you need.

Hmm, that didn’t seem to work. I’m still getting err_empty_response when I try to load the page. Does this redirect have anything to do with the nameserver?
Thank you for your suggestion.

Sorry, should have mentioned that you need a proxied DNS record, so the requests reach Cloudflare. You can do this with an AAAA record that has a value of 100::.

If that doesn’t work then can you share your domain?
