I want to add a domain xxx.abc.com but it told me "Please ensure you are providing the root domain and not any subdomains "
i am the owner of xxx.abc.com and i have dns on it, how can i fix this message and continue to register?

You have described a subdomain and not a domain.
Domain: example.com
Subdomain: xxx.example.com
If this is still unclear, please share the complete actual domain name.
Cloudflare uses the Public Suffix List to verify parent domains. You can check there to see if your TLD is supported.
