I have domains on Site5 that were gotten through iXwebhosting that I did not renew due to cost. Can I transfer these?

I’m not high tech person, but want to keep my URLs as they represent work that is theoretical about regional community and City-regions, not commercial in any sense. Thanks.

What does “did not renew” mean? They expired? In that case you logically cant transfer them.

Which domains are we talking about?

Usually a registrar will let you revive a recently expired domain registration, probably for an extra fee. But they won’t let you transfer an expired domain registration.

I’d have to renew before I could transfer. I have some URLs for renewal. Need to figure out the timing. The answer was useful. The URLs don’t have websites.

Renew and then wait 60 days for the transfer hold to be lifted.

So the domains have already expired? In that case, no, you cant transfer. Renew them as soon as possible, but you might already have to pay a surcharge.
