I have changed the bydefalut DNS setting by mistake, now how to fix it?

Kindly, may I suggest you to navigate to Cloudflare Account → Audit Logs and see what the old value was. Therefore, hopefully you could be able to set it back to the one which it was (manually).

thanks for the reply but unfortunately many files in the logs so very hard to find and do manually

Unfortunately, if you don’t have a backup of your DNS zone file, or an original source of that information, the audit log is the only way to find the old records.
