I have a website with address of 192.168.1.160/view/map. When I try to configure the tunnel to connect to it, it will not work.

Can you clarify on what isn’t working? Tunnels don’t reverse proxy, so if you have it match on view/map then only requests that match that path are routed to it.

On my local server when I go to 192.168.1.160 in Chrome, it redirects to 192.168.1.160/view/map then the web application opens.

Under Tunnels → Configure Hostname, I have tried:

  1. http://192.168.1.160 in the TYPE and URL fields

  2. http://1921.68.160/view/map in the TYPE and URL fields

but neither option will display the website using the subdomain that I created for it.

I am not sure how to get the website to work using the tunnel. I have setup a few web apps without an issue. Not sure what is happening with this one.

The web app that I need to work via the tunnel is points is a available at 192.168.1.160/view/map.

I attempted to configure a public hostname to map a subdomain to the local ip address. I tried the following configurations without success:

  1. TYPE: HTTP URL: 192.168.1.160
  2. TYPE: HTTP URL: 192.168.1.160/view/map

Neither configuration worked when I tried to access the website with the new subdomain I created.

Can you define doesn’t work? Like you get an error or the 404 page? Do you see any logs from cloudflared showing an origin service error?

Oh sorry. I get a 404 page.

Is it the cloudflared 404 page or a one that could be coming from your origin service?

The error is not a cloudflare error page but a general 404 page.
