I had Ezoic ads integrated through Cloudflare how do I ensure DNS records point to my hosting site/

I had Ezoic ads integrated through Cloudflare and have just removed Ezoic ads from my site. What do I now need to do to ensure Cloudflare is working correctly? When signing up with Ezoic, I had to do something with DNS records / nameservers, but really can’t remember what I did. Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA

That typically involves giving them access to your dash password and a token to access your dash via API, so you’d want to change your password and revoke any tokens that they were using.

Next, you’d want to make sure your DNS records have an A record pointing to the IP address of your origin server.

I’m guessing your nameservers are already pointed to Cloudflare, but what is the domain, we can take a look at it.

Go here, https://dash.cloudflare.com/profile/api-tokens. I do not see any tokens in use, which means you may have given them/they may have copied your global API key, it’s a good precaution to change that key to ensure they’re out of your account.

If you use your Global API key and you change it, you’ll want to update your use of the key to reflect the new key.

How do I know if I am using the Global API key

If you do not know if you’re using it, you probably are not using it. You’d use the API to make bulk updates to records or do repetitive tasks automatically via a script. Ezoic uses it to alter DNS records. There are a lot of posts on this site about ezoic using the API to alter/change records that really frustrate customers.

If you change the key as a “justicase” someone has access to it, but you are not using it, you do not need to do any other steps, it’s just a precaution.
