A CNAME record with that host already exists.
I don’t see “A” and/or “AAAA” records on DNS dashboard records, in order to try to delete or solve the duplicate DNS record.

So, this error occurred as part of the transfer process of the domain from Squarespace to Cloudflare to host my website. Originally, I got (pin or see) the “A” records on Squarespace dashboard domain transfer, but after 72 hours the CNAME record continued without connection or failing, that’s why I applied another process to connect CNAME with a TXT type DNS record with success between those hosts, but lost the connection on “A” records and now I cannot see those “A” records on Cloudflare to correct the disconnection and/or complete the entire process.
The DNS record for www is proxied, so will return A and AAAA records as that is how Cloudflare works, see…

I already applied or created the “redirect rule” (step #3 of the guidance), so a received a message (see the message on the screen) that I need to change my root domain as redirect my DNS record through Proxy (I saved the rule without execute any more else), let me know in case I need to do anything else for the rule to work.
In addition, I can not finish the step #2 (add a new AAAA record) as you can see below, I was wondering whether the redirect rule is enough?, in the opposite case, I go back to my question, why can’t I see “A” and “AAAA” rues created on my DNS record?

In addition, let me share the Squarespace status on domain transfer process, which shows that “A” DNS records failed or were not found - but originally there were found and connected in my first step, I don’t know why there were disconnected and now I can’t see on Cloudflare DNS dashboard. I much appreciate support in order to move forward, connecting Cloaudflare with Squarespace.
Based on the screenshot of your Cloudflare DNS, the www record needs to be set as “DNS only” and you need to add the 4 A records to the Cloudflare DNS, also as “DNS only”.
I tried to add the A records setting it as “DNS only”, but Cloudflare continue issue the following message (that it is already exit). How can I see this “A” records (already created) since I don’t see them on the dashboard?
It’ll be the CNAME with the (!) pointing to fg9tfa.... that’s the duplicate. You’ll need to delete that record.
Great - Many thanks!: It appears that the connection was finally achieved!. I see the complete info on Squarespace dashboard. I understand that just I need to wait 24 hours to complete the process, doesn’t it?. And the last question, I set “A” records as “Redirect to proxy” and it shows to work, please let me know your thoughts in case the setting is recommended as “DNS only”.
The records need to be “DNS only” so they can be validated by Squarespace.
