I don't know what email address is associated with my account

What is the name of the domain?

What is the issue you’re encountering

I dont have name server access - cannot access my account

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I’ve filled out the “forgot email” options and have checked every possible email address that could have been associated with my domain (inbox and spam) and haven’t gotten any emails and the login that I have doesn’t show my domain listed. The

What feature, service or problem is this related to?

Nameservers

Does the account use any paid services or is it a free account?

If you have already exhausted all the recovery options, you will have add the domain to a new Cloudflare account and change the nameservers at GoDaddy to those of the new account.

I honestly have no idea. I thought it was hosted with godaddy but when log into GD the name servers say cloudflare. I logged into CL with the email and password that was saved on my computer (that I dont’ remember even setting up) and there’s nothing in the domain section at all. That led me to think maybe that’s not the account email associated so I went through the “forgot email” process and never got any emails from Cloudflare so I’m stuck with no access. There is an article link on this page but it’s a dead link that just goes to the generic Help Center search page.

There wouldn’t be anything in the domain section. Do you see your domain when you follow this link? https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/:zone/dns/records

This is what I see when I log into Godaddy (where I purchased the domain)

And this is what I see inside my cloudflare account “originscurriculum.com is not active on cloudflare”

And I’ve had this website for 4 years now…

That definitely means you are in the wrong account. You can either keep trying to find the correct login credentials (maybe someone else set the site up for you originally and they have the login data?), or you can change the nameservers in GoDaddy to those that you see in your own account.

However, this only works if you know what DNS records you need to add for your website to work. If you just change your nameservers, you might have all sorts of problems (email offline, website offline…).

Okay I just remembered we got into cloudflare through Kajabi… that is the issue. Kajabi is the one who had access.

Now I really don’t know what to do: Kajabi - /admin/sites/157544/custom_domain - 1 December 2024 | Loom

I had the dns nameservers through godaddy (where I purchased the domain) until we switched our site to kajabi then kajabi forced us to switch the nameservers to cloudflare as that is who they used at the time. But a year or 2 ago Kajabi got their own so I don’t have access to the nameservers at all through cloudflare myself, I never did, it was through kajabi, but I don’t know how to change them (which I have to because we are moving from Kajabi to GHL now).

If you want to change the nameservers, you would do that in the GoDaddy settings, on the page that you’ve already shared a screenshot off.

Make sure you make a copy of all your current DNS records, especially those used for email.

But you can probably keep using the Cloudflare nameservers via Kajabi and just change the 1-2 DNS records that you need for GoHighlevel.

Actually, I don’t think GHL even offer their own nameservers? Are you sure you are supposed to change nameservers?
