I added a new domain with all the same credentials and it automatically updated my DNS Records except for removing the old nameservers and replacing them with new nameservers. I am in limbo the status is pending nameserver update. I changed them on the place I bought the domain from with the Web Mail account. How can I remove this DNS pending, my website has been down now for 10 days
What is your domain?
And which nameservers do you see when you go to DNS → Records in the Cloudflare Dashboard?
coby.ns.cloudflare. com
marge.ns.cloudflare .com
These are the new ones to be added: alexa.ns.cloudflare. com
titan.ns.cloudflare. com
It looks like you registered that domain in another account. That’s where you’ll have to manage your site. Otherwise, you’ll have to transfer that domain registration out to an external registrar after the 60 day hold runs out if you want to use it in a different account.
Thanks, I would like to do whatever is necessary to get my email up and running again
Can you explain what exactly you are trying to do? It seems to me that you bought the domain in one Cloudflare account, and are now trying to manage it in another, which won’t work.
Why do you not keep using the old account?
@jimfinch82 Have you been able to determine if you have more than one Cloudflare account?
The only way you’ll be able to regain access is by having access to the email address of the account.
These links may help, but they only work when logged out

Thank you for replying to my message. I don’t have a receipt for buying a new website. I was working on installing an SSL certificate and got stuck on the second part of the verification process called the DCV or DVC can’t remember what’s it called while waiting on someone to help me i went back to trying to change my nameservers. This is where I came out of one rabbit hole and fell into another rabbit hole when I saw try email security set up area 1. I used the same account as I always used to sign up. asked me to verify my email and I did see attached and now cannot autherized the area 1.
How did the Area 1 email security product suddenly enter the picture? If you are having trouble with it, you should probably start a separate topic for that issue. It seems like it would be more productive to solve your existing nameserver challenges before adding new services into the equation.
You cannot change nameservers on a domain that is registered using Cloudflare registrar. If you have a ticket open for that specific issue, can you share the number here?
[-] 2955719 - cannot change nameservers,
Thanks for sharing the ticket number. I have submitted an escalation request.
It’s showing DNS Propagation Checker - Global DNS Testing Tool which were first seen a couple of years ago, https://securitytrails.com/domain/outdoormanshop.com/history/ns.
I do not see that pair assigned to that domain whatsoever, not sure why they came into use.
I see the domain in question was moved to Cloudflare registrar in the account you are using here.
Please keep the conversation in ticket 2955719 as I see @epic.network has already escalated that for my Registrar colleagues.
Thank you very much
thank you, If anything was going to get messed up It always falls on me
