I can't download "cloudflared" on windows 11

What is the name of the domain?

example.com

What is the error number?

2755

What is the error message?

The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2755.

What is the issue you’re encountering

I started setting up the tunnel and downloaded “cloudflared-windows-amd64.msi”. An error code 2755 was displayed during the installation. I tried to install via the command “winget install --id Cloudflare.cloudflared”, but I get error 1632 with the log file. I read about this error and found out that it is because the temporary folder is either full or unavailable for writing. I tried clearing and changing access rights, but it didn’t help.

Hi there,

this is a Windows installer error, not cloudflared.
Try and open a command prompt with administrative privileges and run msiexec /i cloudflared-windows-amd64.msi /l*v "cloudflaredlog.txt" and if the installation fails, check the cloudflaredlog.txt file.

Take care.

Hi, mcorreia!

I tried to use the provided command, but it didn’t work. The same mistake.
I looked through the logs, they say that such a package has already been installed. I tried to delete it using a unique code, but it didn’t help, he says he can’t find the path to the file. I tried to specify another downloaded file in the path, but it didn’t help either.

It looks like the only way is to reinstall Windows completely :smiling_face_with_tear:

As a result, I started running the tunnel through cloudflared-windows-amd64**.exe** and everything is working perfectly
