I cant delete a list

What is the name of the domain?

surdelsurcom

What is the issue you’re encountering

Manage Account>Configurations>Lists

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I need to delete the list (Manage Account>Configurations>Lists) to upload a new one with different IPs to allowlist.
This is an old known issue but maybe there is a solution now.
I tried to delete the list, several times on different days
I tried also with a command in the terminal window but it didn’t work.
I have to delete more than 4500 IPs in the list so manual is not an option
Thanks

Was the site working with SSL prior to adding it to Cloudflare?

Yes

What is the current SSL/TLS setting?

Full (strict)

What is the error you are seeing when you try to delete the list? Could you please provide the fulll screenshot of the error you are seeing?

It says that I am using the list in the WAF, but I deleted this from the WAFs
Captura

To delete the bulk list you might want to try using an API

For the error prompt that you get, you might want to check if your rule still exist and delete it

@ikmal Cloudflare Team

Thanks for the answer but this is not a solution

  1. There is no API token template for this purpose, I can’t figure out what settings to use.
  2. I can’t find a {ruleset_id}, as a free user I have only one rule

Sorry, this isn’t explained in a way that I could understand what to do.

I read the documentation however, could you be more specific on what template to use?
Waiting for an answer. Thanks

Hi Community
I have to delete the old list and upload a new one. Nobody is going to help?
Nobody is using the list? Can you please share how to do this if the delete button doesn’t work? Is this going to be fixed?

I posted 25 days ago, and not having a solution, for a security issue

I am trying to delete a list since june 5.
The new thing is that when I use the delete button doesn’t show any error, but doesn’t delete the list either.
Anyone knows if this is going to be fixed?

Have you confirmed it isn’t in use?

Seems the most likely cause of the error. Could Cloudflare provide an API to provide rules using lists to make everything easier? Sure.

You can also set the list to include zero routable IPs.

The first time I saw the error over a month ago I immediately deleted the list from WAF.

The delete button doesn’t work, and the instructions for deleting the list are unclear to me.

You can also set the list to include zero routable IPs.

I have no experience with this, I don’t know if this is recommended or how to be implemented
