What is the error number?

no number

What is the error message?

Error connecting to git account Cloudflare Pages was unable to be installed on your GitHub/GitLab account. Please attempt to fully uninstall and reinstall the installation

What is the issue or error you’re encountering

I am unable to successfully complete the new github permissions in cloudflare. After accepting the permissions I am sent to cloudflare where all I get is the error message

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

github docs, cloudflare AI/Docs, chatgpt

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

Click the link in the cloudflare email dated 12.17.24 follow to github, then either click “configure” on github and accept the changes, or just accept the changes. All is fine in github, but cloudflare won’t pull the pages. I have completely uninstalled the github app in CF, and, the CF app in github. Nothing works. Has anyone found a work around for this problem?
Kindest,
Karen

Have you tried to navigate to the Github, under Settings → Applications (under the integrations header near the bottom), approve the new permissions?

Thank you for feedback. Sorry to hear that

 any updates here? I am encountering the same problem today(2025-01-12).

Hi all,
My websites are now all resolving through Cloudflare. I just followed Cloudflares, and githubs, work arounds. I’m not sure what made it work, but I did read the push error message in Gitea and found I needed to re-add my new token to a couple of my domains. I also had to add each domain by going to settings/pages in Github and that seemed to help. There was also one of my repositories I had to add a text line into my DNS on Cloudflare. There were lots of small things that needed fixing on my end.

I suggest reading your push error message and work from there.

I hope this helps
