please excuse me if this message lacks technical depth.this is my first time posting in the community, and I’m still learning my way around.
Recently, CAPTCHA challenges have started appearing on our website, even though we did not enable them manually. After thoroughly checking our hosting settings, we can confirm that this change was not made by our hosting provider.
Additionally, we noticed that the Security Level option in our Cloudflare dashboard appears to be disabled or uneditable, which prevents us from adjusting the protection level to better suit our site’s needs.
This situation is causing serious problems for our users. A large portion of our visitors rely on VPNs to access the website, and they are now frequently encountering CAPTCHA challenges, which disrupt their experience. As a result, our traffic and revenue have dropped by nearly 50% over the past few days.
We currently have no control over the CAPTCHA settings and would greatly appreciate your help in understanding:
Why the CAPTCHA was activated
Whether it was triggered automatically by Cloudflare security systems
And how we can either disable it or fine-tune it to prevent disruption for legitimate users
Thank you in advance for your support. We look forward to your guidance on resolving this issue.
When it comes to tech, things may not always be what they seem… especially to an admittedly non-technical person. If you could share the address of the site you need help with, that would help community members take a deep dive and better assist you.
If you absolutely cannot share the website address, can you, at the very least, share a screenshot of the page showing the CAPTCHA in question?
Can you share a screenshot of this supposedly locked security level?
