I am not able to add my CNAME

I am trying to CNAME for my subdomain ie. api-staging.gofibo.in but it is not working. How do i fix it. I am getting this error “DNS Validation Error (Code: 1004) Content for CNAME record is invalid.”

Could you please send a screenshot of the DNS record you are attempting to create?

For IPv4 addresses you have to select the A record type.

I already have done A record for my domain name. Now I want to add few subdomains to it.

  1. api-staging.gofibo.in
  2. staging.gofibo.in

You can have multiple A records on one domain.

But in this case, you are creating a subdomain, so there would be no conflict. Just change it to an A record and it should work.
