Change nameservers to activate the DNS service on Cloudflare
What is the issue you’re encountering
I have no clue where to find how to change the DNS nameserver records. There is not spot in the dashboard for it.
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
i bought my domain from cloudflare registrar through icloud+ services… whois shows that cloudflare was original owner and is current owner but have different nameservers from the original ownership. how do i change from one cloudflare name server to another cloudflare name server. I have followed the set up guides and cannot find the place to submit the new nameservers.
What feature, service or problem is this related to?
May I ask where do you see this message?
Might be some temporary glitch at first sight.
If you keep getting the error, can you create a Registrar ticket and share your ticket number here? You can open a Registrar ticket here, https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/support
Looks like a parking page is enabled for your domain.
After you buy a domain through iCloud, Cloudflare Registrar automatically enables a landing page for it. This temporary page informs your visitors that you still do not have a website. This feature is only available to new domain registrations, when you buy a domain through an Apple device.
The domain is not active in the account you are using here, it shows as pending the nameserver change as you indicated.
That domain was purchased in 12/24 and is active in a different account than you are using here.
Two sets of nameservers is a very good indicator the zone (website, domain) is in two different accounts. It can only be active in one account.
Are you sure you used the account you are using here to purchase the domain? (I do not see an invoice for that purchase in the account you are using here, hence my question)
I’d try this recovery link and then check any and all email addresses you may have used to see if it was purchased in a different account, If you don’t know the email: https://dash.cloudflare.com/forgot-email. Do you remember roughly when you made the purchase?
