Hello everyone,

We also joined the Cloudflare CDN network. It’s nice to take advantage of Cloudflare technology. But; I’m having some problems. Our company Turksem.com has e-mail problems.

On-site SMTP settings are not working. The contact forms on the site are currently not working.

Amazon SES sent an e-mail as follows. “We detected that the DNS records required for the DKIM setup of turksem.com are no longer present in your DNS settings.”

Emails are not coming to Outlook.

What settings should I make regarding e-mails? I would be very happy if someone could guide us. Is there any other settings I should make during the initial installation?

Thanks.

Set the DNS record for mail to “DNS only” and not “Proxied”.

If your DKIM record is a CNAME, ensure that too is “DNS only”.

If you can give the DKIM selector it is easier to check.

Thanks for the answer. Our settings are like this. What should the correct settings be?

Switch the “proxy status” for mail to off (so it shows a grey cloud and “DNS only”).

Can you show your DKIM record?

I think I figured out the Amazon DKIM thing. But; Currently, emails are not coming or going to Outlook.

Thank you very much for your help.

Hi @tahir.dinc

Make sure ALL email related DNS records are unproxied/grey clouded.

Then you can try and enable DMARC management, this will help you with the email security records.

Please go through the following documentation:

Please remember that the DKIM, DMARC and SPF email records are email provider related, so you need to get the information from your email provider on what content needs to be in these records.
