Cannot change the NS manually and have not been able to renew the domain. It is just expired and I need it
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
I have a domain that I have been trying to renew, however I am getting the 404 page again.
I believe this is one of several domains I have that At the website section, if you delete the zone off of the dashboard your nameservers will need to be manually updated. But there is no way to change the NS by myself. I have had to have you help before on a few of them. I do need this domain and need to renew it asap. It just sits on “pending Nameserver Update”.
The problem is always been that I read through the NS change page but it explains how to change them with alot of other registrars, except Cloudflare which is my registrar.

Since Cloudflare is the domain registrar, we’re not able to change the domain nameservers at Cloudflare Registrar to some other as follows from the Registrar ToS:
6.1 in the Domain Registration Agreement states that you cannot change the nameservers:
6.1 Nameservers . Registrant agrees to use Cloudflare’s nameservers. REGISTRANT ACKNOWLEDGES AND AGREES THAT IT MAY NOT CHANGE THE NAMESERVERS ON THE REGISTRAR SERVICES, AND THAT IT MUST TRANSFER TO A THIRD PARTY REGISTRAR IF IT WISHES TO CHANGE NAMESERVERS.
Unfortunately, only the possible solutin which I can see from the ToS of Cloudflare Registrar and your case: Transfer out and use different domain registar.
You can certainly transfer out after 60 days as per ICANN requirements.
Furthermore, domain status is in autorenewperiod as well and current nameservers are as follows from below:
Name Server: peyton.ns.cloudflare.com
Name Server: tricia.ns.cloudflare.com
May I ask if above nameservers are the ones which are listed under your Cloudflare account or different ones?
Wonder if it could be related to the recent incident:
May I ask if you still experience such issue?
Have you tried using a different Web browser or Incognito Mode (Private Window)?

Questions about Cloudflare Registrar will need to be resolved by the Customer Support team and cannot be resolved on the Community.
This has happened before and CF has been able to manually switch the NS names. They should be:
dee.ns.cloudflare.com
max.ns.cloudflare.com
This has been an ongoing issue with some of my domains that for some reason were deleted from the zone off the dashboard. Then if you try and put them back it assigns the different NS, which in the past CF has gone in and manually changed them for me. As it is impossible for me when I click on the renew button, it does not take me to the renew page, it just takes me back to the list of domians or a 404 page.
CF can switch them, it is just a pain to try and get the support ticket to the right place. I feel that if you have domains with CF, and they are the registrar, we should have a direct support for them. Not having to buy the business account to have support. I am already a paying customer as having my domains with CF.
To contact the Registrar team, please submit a new support request from your Cloudflare account directly through the Cloudflare dashboard. Visit https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/support and choose Cloudflare Registrar. Please share your ticket number here so that we can track it.
