I am experiencing an average loss of 90% from 1 of the server of Cloudflare. I am running all my applications internally in my local network and exposing only through Cloudflare tunnels.
Loss doesn’t matter when it doesn’t go through all the way to the end. ICMP/Pings (which is what mtr uses) are super low priority for routers, they’ll discard/not respond when they’re busy, some routers rate limit them, etc.
It seems like this might actually matter. I’m saying this because, for every exposed application I accessed through the Cloudflare Tunnel, it was taking around 19.33 to 19.5 seconds to reach the server. I observed this over two days after my server crashed due to an electrical issue. However, just after posting this in the community, I traced it again, and now the packet loss is at 0, with the application loading as usual—taking around 200ms to reach the server. May be I am very wrong.
