I am being spammed

What is the name of the domain?

[email protected]

What is the error message?

[email protected] host eig-west.smtp.a.cloudfilter.net [34.223.136.48] SMTP error from remote mail server after end of data: 550 XWQ1tcYcA9EdGXWQ2tv7D8 - [email protected] message rejected AUP#SNDR

What is the issue you’re encountering

I am being spammed by Gmail addresses but when I try to reply telling them to stop my email bounces back saying it was rejected by Cloud Fair

This is CloudFilter, not Cloudflare.

You’re at the wrong place knocking on the wrong door.

And I really don’t see the use in replying to spam messages. Are you trying to tell the spammer to stop spamming you? At best, you’re just wasting your time. Worse, you could inadvertently click some link and get malware on your computer… or, if you let down your guard, you could end up getting scammed.

Dealing with spam (or rather not having to deal with spam at all) is the primary reason I stopped running my own server: Gmail (from Google Workspace) catches 99% of spam by default and the advanced filters take care of the rest.
